About Me: My name is Andrea Garoutte, but my friends call me Rea. I’m a graphic designer and illustrator, and I work with various materials, including but not limited to UI/UX, branding, print, cover design, and product design. I have a passion for doing work that inspires people, and I strive to put effective, captivating, and unique designs out into the world. I want people to look at my work and wish that they were doing what I do, just as I’ve been inspired by many designers before me. In my free time, you might find me listening to Shakey Graves, playing Dungeons and Dragons with my friends, geeking out about astronomy, or hunting through antique stores for unsettling old photographs. What’s something that is always on your work desk? A wooden puzzle box shaped like a violin that contains my wax seal set, an annotated copy of The Essential Iliad, and a mug of tea with Dürer’s Rhinoceros printed on it. Also, occasionally my dog’s paws because he likes to say hello to my zoom calls.
