Eliza Au receives Award of Excellence from the James Renwick Alliance

November 2020 — Congratulations to Eliza Au, associate professor, Department of Studio Art: Ceramics! The 2020 focus for the James Renwick Alliance Chrysalis Award for Emerging Artists was on ceramics, and Eliza Au, #UNTCVAD assistant professor, Studio Art: Ceramics, received an Award of Excellence from an independent panel of jurors. The JRA is a vibrant group of art collectors, artists, educators, students, and art professionals who share a passion for American Craft.

The James Renwick Alliance Chrysalis Award was established in 2016 to encourage and support emerging American craft artists who demonstrate excellence and a commitment to artistic innovation but do not have major gallery representation.
