Hello, I’m Madeline! I am a designer, knitter, and library card-carrying member of society. In my youth (relative to now), I had no idea which of my many interests to pursue. In design I found the culmination of them all. Inside and outside of design work, I latch on to nuggets of ideas and try to take them as far as I can. This has led to elaborately embroidered WiFi codes, a 3-event pancake competition, a tiny pair of pants, and plenty of fun mistakes.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

My ultimate goal is to one day go back and teach design, providing the kind of experience and guidance my professors have so generously given me. That means I have to get out there, make mistakes, collect experiences, and never stop learning so that I can be as valuable a designer as possible. In 10 years, I see myself still on that journey of discovery, reflecting back on my schooling years with new perspective.
